- Book dinner before you leave home. The top rooms fill up fast on summer weekends.
- Plan a real lunch mid-route. Several wineries (Norman Hardie, Casa-Dea, Hinterland, Huff) serve food on-site in season.
- Many kitchens close early or take Monday–Tuesday off, especially outside July–August. Check hours.
- Build a picnic kit: County cheese, bakery bread, farm-stand fruit. Many wineries welcome picnickers with a bottle purchase (ask first).
